Environmental awareness

At Daleswalk we are keen to minimise our impact on the environment, particularly in relation to greenhouse gas emissions. For this reason we have undertaken to offset all the emissions caused by transport used during our holidays, which includes rail travel to and from Skipton and the transport provided while you are staying with us. We use the CarbonNeutral Company to do this, more about them here: www.carbonneutral.com. We use their “Clean Air” product which invests in renewable energy projects. This is designed to reduce emissions by an amount equivalent to those that we are producing.

From a more holistic perspective, we hope that your holiday with us will increase your awareness of environmental issues and highlight the importance of maintaining a sustainable balance between the landscape and its users.
