Typical itinerary

Friday morning - travel to Skipton station. You will be met there and transported to your accommodation in the attractive market town of Skipton on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Friday lunchtime - buffet lunch at your accommodation, accompanied by an introduction to the weekend's activities by your guide and host.

Friday afternoon - drive out from Skipton for a short walk (about 3 miles) in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales landscape.

Friday evening - you are free for the evening to eat in one of Skipton’s excellent pubs and restaurants. We can recommend the best places to eat and drink.

Saturday - after a leisurely breakfast, we leave for a further, slightly longer, walk in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This may involve walking up one of the renowned Three Peaks of Yorkshire, or a trip through the stunning scenery of Wharfedale and an ascent of one of the starkly beautiful hills surrounding it.

Saturday late afternoon - return to Skipton, and a chance for you to look around the town or relax in a café. The evening is again free for you to eat and drink.

Sunday - again after a leisurely breakfast, a less strenuous walk along one of the Dales, with many great views and places of interest.

Sunday late afternoon - return to Skipton for transport to the station for your journey home after a memorable weekend.
